I always love the sheer scale of this world.
Anyway, I have a question. What is the educational system like in this world? Are folks taught about the great game? Or is there some sort of instinct about it? Also I take it the study of science and tech is very important.

Actually this is the festival of the goddess Oester (or somewhere close). Nothing to do with any of my middle eastern ancestors - the eggs are symbols of fertility and rebirth - mind you I've ancestors from everywhere so I make a point of celebrating everything. Happy everything.
